A bhuta who has died in a hunting accident. It travels in the company of a pack of spectral dogs. The saliva of the airi is poisonous, but the sight of the revenant alone causes death from sheer terror. Now and then a mortal survives the vision. The airi is so impressed that it rewards her or him with a valuable treasure.
