In memory of Mrs Elizabeth Hughlett
the amicable consort of
William Hughlett Esquire and daughter of
Junifer Taylor Esquire & Jane his wife.
She departed this life after a painful illness which she bore with
Christian fortitude
on the 27th March 1810. She was a dutiful daughter, a compassionate
mistress,
a valuable friend, but alas our God has
bereaved us from one whom we loved
in life beloved in death at rest.
God calls to him whom he loves best.
She is taken from earth to Heaven
thus we are premonished to prepare to follow
This marble is inscribed to her memory
by her affectionate husband.
