A cleaned head of an enemy soldier. During the Spanish American War and Phillipines Insurrection, San Francisco graveyards were beset by Stateside soldiers who snatched these bones with a mind to selling them to their compatriots as authentic kills. The practice of collecting these remains is now discouraged.
