Called the "first man" though he hardly looked like one: he had horns, tusks, and a hairy body. By some accounts, our existence is due to his death. His eyes became the sun and the moon, his sweat and blood the rivers. The hairs on his body grew into plants and what was left of his flesh and bones became the soil. And we are descended from the maggots who infested the corpse.
