The horned god of fertility and wealth, symbolized by the wheel which also represents the sun. He is depicted sitting cross-legged, wearing a simple tunic and beads.Celtic graves often contain small wheels, placed there to light the way of the dead in the underworld.
The Roman invaders of Gaul and Britain surmised that he was another form of Mercury who guides the spirits of the dead to Hades. Christians turned him into the Devil and inserted him into Hell.
